A Message From The Founder

Major Gen (Ret) Bantu Holomisa

“Let’s play golf and raise funds for those in need!” – this simple yet powerful slogan reflects the true spirit behind The Bantu Holomisa Charity Golf Day. It is more than just a day on the green – it is a celebration of purpose, unity, and compassion.

This initiative was born from a deep desire to use sport as a bridge between people and the pressing needs in our communities. Golf, often seen as a symbol of excellence and discipline, provides us with a unique platform to bring together professionals, leaders, and everyday citizens who are passionate about giving back.

Through this event, we are not just swinging clubs – we are creating real impact. Every round played, every partnership formed, and every rand raised goes directly toward uplifting those who are most vulnerable in our society – from supporting orphaned children and disadvantaged schools, to healthcare and food security initiatives.

My sincere gratitude goes out to all the players, sponsors, supporters, and volunteers who make this day possible. Your participation is a reminder that when we come together with a shared vision, we can make meaningful change.

So let us continue to play golf, raise funds, and give hope – one swing at a time.

Warm regards,

Major Gen (Ret) Bantu Holomisa
